ABOUT THE PANELISTS
Kirk Benson
Kirk worked all four of his college years at HSA in a variety of roles and served as President in FY13.  He has been a member of the Graduate Board since 2016.  Kirk is now a vice president at Crestview Partners, a private equity firm based in New York.
Ethan Waxman
Ethan Waxman is a Director at EQT, an alternative asset management firm headquartered in Sweden with €41 billion in assets under management. At EQT, Ethan has been involved in the firm’s investments in Certara, Waystar, Press Ganey (former), and Clinical Innovations (former). Prior to joining EQT, Ethan worked at Warburg Pincus. Ethan has a B.A., phi beta kappa, from Harvard University.
Grace Chen
Grace is a private equity associate at Warburg Pincus in NYC, where she focuses on the financial services sector. Previously, she spent two years at Goldman Sachs in the AIMS Private Equity team, working on a wide range of private equity secondaries, GP stakes, partnerships, and co-investment transactions. Grace graduated cum laude from Harvard in 2019 with AB/AM dual degrees in Statistics and a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Grace enjoys hiking and backpacking in her spare time - in the past year, she's trekked 100 miles of the Appalachian Trail and reached the highest points of 10 states.
Matt Hawkins
Matt is a Private Equity Associate at Nonantum Capital Partners, where he focuses on acquiring and operating companies in the consumer, industrial, and business services spaces. Matt previously worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, where he split time between building strategies for digital/mobile applications and evaluating private equity transactions. At HSA, Matt served as the Managing Director of HSA Cleaners and as the Stock Manager at The Harvard Shop, in addition to serving on the HSA Board of Directors from 2015-18. Matt graduated from Harvard with a BA in Economics.
